A masterpiece. Yet another great film found for you by the Cinéma du Parc. The film tells the difficult story of the absence of the soldier and of his delicate return home. The actors are not famous, which makes the situations look more realistic. But this also explains its weak attendance when it was released in North America. But its quality encouraged Americans producers to buy the rights of the movie in order to adapt it in the U-S, which has just been done by Jim Sheridan.
