Alexandre Smith, psychologue clinicien et communautaire, et ancien directeur d'un organisme d'intervention en violence conjugale et familiale à Montréal, commentera ce film et ouvrira la discussion avec la salle.

Synopsis : Ce chef d’œuvre des années 70 met en scène un jeune homme troublé, ex-marine devenu chauffeur de taxi à New York. Ce qu’il côtoie dans cette ville s’ajoute à son expérience de la guerre du Vietnam et contribue à ce qu’il sombre dans une rage sourde et meurtrière.

Synopsis: This 70s masterpiece features a troubled young man, an ex-Marine turned cab driver in New York. What he encounters in the city, combined with his experience of the Vietnam War, leads to a dull, murderous rage.
