FESTIVAL DU FILM BRÉSILIEN DE MONTRÉAL

Ana est une avocate prometteuse. Après avoir été impliquée dans un accident de la route avec son fils, elle découvre qu'elle souffre d'une perte d'audition sévère et progressive, et qu'elle se dirige vers une surdité profonde. Bien qu'elle soit d'abord dans le déni, elle se rend vite compte qu'il n'y a pas d'échappatoire à sa nouvelle condition. Ana doit s'adapter non seulement aux appareils auditifs, mais aussi à une nouvelle réalité, en assumant sa nouvelle identité.

After suffering a traffic accident with her son, Ana (Benedita Casé Zerbini) discovers that she’s now suffering from a hearing loss that will progress to profound deafness. In an extremely ableist society, she will need to reinvent herself. Ana goes to work in an accessible position and discovers a new identity, new challenges, friends and a new love. In this world, she gains a new sense of hearing and rediscovers her purpose.
